Overview
The government of France lifted all COVID-19-related entry requirements for travelers on August 1, 2022. As a result, travelers will no longer be required to complete any COVID-19-related formalities before traveling to France, including proof of a compelling reason for travel to France. Travelers will also no longer be required to present evidence of vaccination, proof of recovery, or proof of a negative COVID-19 test result.

What are the Changes?
On August 1, 2022, the government of France lifted all COVID-19-related entry requirements. As such, travelers will no longer be required to demonstrate a compelling reason for traveling to France or present proof of vaccination, recovery, or a negative COVID-19 test. Travelers entering the country should ensure that they hold the appropriate immigration authorization before arrival, where applicable.
