The government of Canada will extend temporary protection measures for Israel and Palestinian nationals due to the ongoing crisis in Israel and the Palestinian Territories. These measures include the following:
- Israeli nationals and Palestinian passport holders in Canada
- Individuals who arrived in Canada under special measures for extended family in Gaza
- Family members of Canadian citizens and permanent residents who departed from Israel or the Palestinian Territories on or after October 7, 2023
- Permanent residents of Canada who departed from Israel or the Palestinian Territories on or after October 7, 2023
These measures will remain in effect until July 31, 2025.
