Overview

The government of China will resume visa-free travel with Singapore and Brunei effective July 26, 2023. Under these measures, eligible citizens of Singapore and Brunei holding ordinary passports will be permitted to travel to China, visa-free, for business, family visits, transit, and tourism purposes for a maximum period of 15 days.

Any currently pending visa will continue to be processed; however, new applications do not need to be submitted after July 26, 2023, if the stay of the trip will not extend past 15 days.
