Overview

The government of Costa Rica expanded its visa-exemption policy to include foreign nationals holding multiple-entry Schengen C and D visas. Eligible foreign nationals will be permitted to remain in Costa Rica for a maximum period of 30 days. The conditions of stay can then be renewed for an additional 90-day period. The government also updated its list of Group Four nationals, which require a Restricted Entry Visa to enter the country.
