The government of Ethiopia introduced a new online portal for all employers of foreign national workers. The Expatriate Work Permit portal is a requirement for the following immigration services:
- Submitting work permit applications
- Submitting work permit renewal applications
- Canceling work permits
- Renewing or replacing lost work permits
Employers must also provide proof that for every foreign national employee, they have hired ten Ethiopian nationals.
