Overview

The government of Iceland announced that it would lift border restrictions for all travelers entering the country beginning February 25, 2022. Regardless of vaccination status, all travelers will be permitted to enter the country without requiring a pre- or post-arrival test or undergoing quarantine. Travelers will also not be required to present a vaccination certificate upon entry.

What are the Changes?

On February 25, 2022, the government of Iceland will reopen and remove all border restrictions for international travelers. According to the government, this decision was made due to decreased COVID-19 infection rates.
