New Online Application Process for Intra-Corporate Transferee (ICT) Permits
The government of Italy introduced a new online application process for a non-quota intra-corporate work permit that was initially launched in late 2023.
This permit allows non-EU workers who have previously worked for Italian companies (or their subsidiaries) operating outside the EU to work in Italy for those same companies without being subject to any work permit quota limits.
Eligible workers must have worked for at least 12 months with the relevant company within 48 months before the application.
