Overview
Taiwan’s authorities will require all visa applications from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Madagascar, Mozambique, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to provide proof of vaccination against polio.
The vaccination must be administered with oral live attenuated poliovirus vaccine (OPV) or inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV) within the past four weeks to one year.
These measures will also apply to travelers who have stayed in any of the previously mentioned countries for more than four weeks within the past year.
