Inspection Measures for Visa Extensions
The government of Thailand implemented new inspection measures for visa extensions filled at a One Stop Service Center (OSSC). These measures include:
- Applicable to all first-time visa extension applicants at OSSC
- Immigration officers will pre-schedule inspections with the company’s HR department
- During inspections, HR, Thai staff, and the visa holder must be present. Company directors or representatives are not required
- Officers will ask questions, inspect documents, and take photos at the office
- A signature will be required to confirm compliance post-inspection. Non-compliance may lead to visa revocation and possible blacklisting
