Inspection Measures for Visa Extensions

The government of Thailand implemented new inspection measures for visa extensions filled at a One Stop Service Center (OSSC). These measures include:

  • Applicable to all first-time visa extension applicants at OSSC
  • Immigration officers will pre-schedule inspections with the company’s HR department
  • During inspections, HR, Thai staff, and the visa holder must be present. Company directors or representatives are not required
  • Officers will ask questions, inspect documents, and take photos at the office
  • A signature will be required to confirm compliance post-inspection. Non-compliance may lead to visa revocation and possible blacklisting
