The government of South Africa will terminate the Zimbabwean Exemption Permit (ZEP) beginning December 31, 2023. In addition, the government will not grant extensions beyond December 31, 2023. Nationals of Zimbabwe holding valid ZEPs will be permitted to enter and exit South Africa until December 31, 202.
What are the Changes?
The government of South Africa announced the end of the ZEP. Previously, all ZEPs were expected to expire in June 2024.
