- Temporary lockdown measures put into place for ten to twenty days
The government of Austria announced that a temporary nationwide lockdown would be enforced as of November 22, 2021. This brief lockdown will remain in place until approximately December 13, 2021. However, an evaluation on infection rates will take place on day ten of the lockdown. Entry for tourism will not be permitted throughout this restricted period. Tourists currently in Austria are required to adhere to the lockdown requirements.
