The government of Bermuda will now require foreign nationals from 115 countries to acquire a transit visa when traveling onward to the United States (US), the United Kingdom, and Canada. As a result, foreign nationals transiting from these three countries into Bermuda will be required to provide proof of valid travel authorization issued by Canada, the US, or the UK.

The Bermudian government introduced measures requiring US, Canada, and UK travelers to hold valid travel authorization when transiting through Bermuda. According to the government announcement, these measures result from abuses of entry procedures and travel to Bermuda.
