Overview

The government of Denmark introduced application fee rates for work, study, and residence permits. The new rates apply to all applications submitted from May 17, 2023, onward. The new rates are as follows:

  • Permanent residence permit on the grounds of work and study: € 7,355 (up from € 6,745)
  • Au pairs or interns: € 4,320 (up from € 4,175)
  • Accompanying family: € 2,635 (up from €1,615)

What are the Changes?

The Danish government increased application fee rates for work, study, and residence permits on May 17, 2023. Fees for processing applications for residence permits are generally adjusted on January 1 each year. The adjustment on May 17, 2023, is because the national budget for 2023 takes effect on this date.
