Key Points

  • Demark will begin assessing residence and work permit applications under new income statistics starting April 1, 2024

Overview

The government of Demark will begin assessing residence and work permit applications under new income statistics starting April 1, 2024. The government uses income data from The Confederation of Danish Employers (DA) to check if a job offer meets Danish salary standards for visa applications.

Foreign national applicants applying for a work and residence permit after March 31, 2024, will have their applications assessed based on the new income statistics. Applicants who applied between January 1 and March 31 31, 2024, will be evaluated using income statistics from the third quarter of 2023.
