  • Denmark introduced changes to the document requirements for accompanying family members from the Faroe Islands

Overview

On September 2, 2023, the government of Denmark introduced changes to the document requirements for accompanying family members from the Faroe Islands. As a result, nationals of the Faroe Islands who submit a new residence permit application as an accompanying family member must be able to provide proof of documentation of sponsorship.

Applications submitted after September 2, 2023, or later will be subject to these changes. If an application was submitted before September 2, 2023, this requirement will not apply.
