With a heavy heart, Corporate Immigration Partners, PC, announces the passing of our dear colleague and friend, attorney Lisa Marie Galvan. Lisa was a Partner at Hammond Neal Moore in Cincinnati before becoming a Partner at CIP when the two firms merged in 2023. The depth of her experience in immigration law was extensive, including all aspects of US business immigration law practice, as well as family and naturalization matters. She was highly regarded for handling complex immigration cases, especially with soccer and rugby stars, and she had a unique ability to share fascinating stories from her experiences, such as working the immigration case of a country music star and riding cigar boats in Miami.

In addition to her law practice, Lisa dedicated her time to volunteering with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), serving as the Mid-South CLE Chapter Chair and as a member of the annual conference business planning committee. She graduated from Baldwin Wallace College and received her law degree from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law.

Lisa’s passion extended beyond her professional life; she was a staunch advocate for animal welfare and ran a non-profit dog sanctuary on a sprawling ranch for unwanted, abused, and elderly dogs, caring for as many as 18 dogs.

During this challenging time, we remember and celebrate Lisa’s contributions to our team and her lasting impact on everyone she met. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
