The government of Germany introduced measures to assist Turkish nationals impacted by the humanitarian crisis in Turkey. The government plans to take the following steps to help those affected by the humanitarian crisis in Turkey:
- Simplify the visa process
- Issue regular visas that will remain valid for a period of three months
- Increase staff capacities and resources at diplomatic missions located in Turkey
Turkish nationals will continue to be required to present a valid passport and other documents needed as part of the visa application process.
