Key Points

  • Remote consular services will be offered to Lithuanian citizens in China

Overview

Effective December 15, 2021, the government of Lithuania will allow its diplomatic mission in China to operate remotely temporarily. This will enable consular services to Lithuanian citizens in China to provide more efficient and effective assistance. Due to limited capacity, consular processing times may still be delayed.

What are the Changes?

The Lithuanian consulate in China will be operating remotely until a new diplomat arrives. In the meantime, consular services will still be available to Lithuanian citizens remotely.
