The government of Nigeria issued a notice requiring all companies to submit their monthly foreign national quota returns to the eCITIBIZ portal by December 2023. Foreign national quota returns include positions held by foreign nationals and vacant positions. Companies must submit this information by December 2023 to avoid strict penalty fees. Any company that fails to submit their quota returns within this number of days from the following month will pay:

  • After the first 10 Days – N100,000
  • After 20 Days – N150,000
  • After 25 Days – N200,000
