The government of Sweden will increase the minimum salary requirements for work permit holders on October 1, 2023. Once these measures enter into force, foreign national employees must receive a salary that amounts to at least 80% of the median wage in Sweden. This would increase the minimum salary requirement from around 13,000 SEK per month to 26,560 SEK per month.
