Overview

The Department of State (DOS) has released the August 2024 Visa Bulletin. In August, USCIS will use the Final Action Dates chart for employment-based categories. The updates below reflect changes in employment-based categories compared to the previous month.

What are the Changes

In August 2024, most employment-based categories will remain unchanged from the July 2024 Visa Bulletin. The exceptions are India’s EB-2 and EB-3, which will see some advancement.

EB-1

  • All countries will stay the same

EB-2

  • India will move ahead one month to July 15, 2012
  • All other countries will stay the same

EB-3

  • India will move ahead one month to October 22, 2012

All other countries will stay the same.
