Overview

The Department of State (DOS) has released the May 2022 Visa Bulletin, which will use the Dates for Filing chart for employment-based categories.

What are the Changes?

In May 2022, no changes will occur to EB-1 and EB-3 employment-based categories in the Dates for Filing chart. India EB-2 will move ahead by three months to December 1, 2014. All other countries will stay the same for EB-2.

EB-1

All countries will stay the same in May following the Dates for Filing chart.

EB-2

India EB-2 will advance three months to December 1, 2014. China will stay on April 1, 2019, and all other countries will remain unchanged from the April 2022 Visa Bulletin.

EB-3

Under the Dates for Filing chart, there will be no changes from the April 2022 Visa Bulletin for any country.
