The government of Canada conducted its first draw for healthcare-related workers and skilled foreign nationals in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) applying under the country’s Express Entry stream. As a result, a round of new category-based invitations was sent to eligible applicants on July 28, 2023.

What are the Changes?

The Canadian government conducted its first draw for healthcare and STEM-related positions. The government had previously expanded the stream to include additional prospective applicants with specific skills, training, or language abilities that can benefit the Canadian economy.
