Overview
The Cayman Islands government announced that it would reopen its visa office in Jamaica beginning March 1, 2023. Initially, the office closed at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March 2020.
Paper applications, interview applications, and passport endorsements will no longer be accepted. Instead, the office will offer applicants virtual application and processing fee options. Kiosks will also be made available for customers to complete the application online.
To ensure timely processing, applicants must confirm that their passports are valid for at least six months from their planned arrival date. A travel authorization will be granted via email only for approved visas.
