Overview

The government of China will introduce visa-free entry options for nationals of France, Germany, Italy, Malaysia, the Netherlands, and Spain beginning December 1, 2023. Nationals of these countries will be permitted to enter mainland China for a period of 15 days for tourism, business, family, or transit purposes. These measures are expected to remain in place until November 30, 2024.
