Overview

The Japanese government will launch a trial electric entry pilot program at the Haneda Airport beginning January 31, 2024. As a result, electronic kiosks will be placed throughout the airport to facilitate streamlined entry for foreign nationals. The program will remain in place for two months, after which the government will determine plans to implement further kiosks throughout other airports.
