The government of Saudi Arabia introduced four new Special Economic Zones (SEZs). Saudi Arabia’s SEZs are geographically defined areas that facilitate specific economic activities, such as investment, trade, and employment, by providing competitive advantages and legislative frameworks that differ from the base economy.
The government also intends to introduce a new service platform that will simplify the business license process for employers.
