Overview
The Department of State (DOS) has released the March 2024 Visa Bulletin (VB). In contrast to February 2024, USCIS will use the Final Action Dates chart in March for employment-based categories. The updates below reflect changes in employment-based categories compared to last month’s chart.
What are the Changes?
In March 2024, there was some change to employment-based categories from the February 2024 Visa Bulletin, which used the Final Action Dates chart.
EB-1
China will regress by 5.5 months to July 15, 2022. India will regress three months to October 10, 2020.
All other countries will stay current.
EB-2
China will regress by five months to January 1, 2020. India will regress over two months to March 1, 2012.
All other countries will regress to November 22, 2022, about three months.
EB-3
China will regress by ten months to September 1, 2020. India will regress by one month to July 1, 2012.
All other countries will regress to September 8, 2022, which is a four-month change for the Philippines and a five-month change for the others.
