The government of Vietnam will no longer require travelers, regardless of vaccination status, to undergo pre-departure testing as of May 15, 2022. Travelers experiencing COVID-19-related symptoms should notify the health authorities of Vietnam.

What are the Changes?

Travelers entering Vietnam will no longer be required to provide proof of a pre-departure COVID-19 test. Previously, travelers were required to undergo COVID-19 testing administered within 72 hours of departure for Vietnam. Travelers entering Vietnam should ensure that they hold the appropriate immigration authorization before arrival.
