Overview

The government of India issued further guidelines for international travelers entering the country. The government recommends that travelers be fully vaccinated with an approved primary vaccination and take additional precautions, such as social distancing and using masks, throughout their travels.

The government will continue to require travelers to undergo an isolation period if any symptoms of COVID-19 appear during their travels. In addition, thermal screenings will be conducted upon entry into the country.

These measures are valid as of July 20, 2023.
